Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all are enjoying your time with your families today! I know that we have so much to be thankful for (more than I could list here)! First and foremost, Jesus Christ, for what would life be without Him? He is the ultimate giver! He gives constant forgiveness, guidance, love and did I mention forgiveness? I am thankful that He saved me and He never leaves me no matter how many times I ignore Him or push Him away.

I am also so thankful for my family! I have been blessed with a husband who truly loves me, amazing kids, parents, grandparents, siblings and extended family. We are not perfect by any means but we stick together and help each other out and I love them all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's official...

She is a bike rider. Since Ethan was so sick last weekend, Kent took Lindsey out to practice her bike riding without the training wheels on.

Boy, did she have fun. Remember how fun it was the first time you rode without training wheels? I think I was 5 and I haven't stopped since then!

Adventures with Sandy

I just love, love Ethan's Preschool teacher this year. She is just so loving and does such fun things for the kids.

They have a a class bear that they all take turns taking home. The class named this years bear "Sandy" They get to journal (meaning they tell the parents what to say) about their adventures with the bear.

Sandy watched a movie with us on movie night and then went to Disney with us to see Buzz Light Year. Apparently, Sandy has been dying to meet Buzz!

Ethan took great care of Sandy that weekend. Now, he is just counting the days until he visits us again.

Jack-o-Lanterns

Every year we get 2 pumpkins to carve. Lindsey and Ethan get to choose the design (within reason) and Kent and I set out to carve.

Lindsey and I carved together and Kent and Ethan carved together. Here is what we came up with!

First Day of School

Well, the first week of school this year was anything but normal. We had school Monday but we had Tropical Storm Fay on Tuesday - Friday disrupting the rest of the week. Honestly, it wasn't too bad for us so we just snuggled on the couch and watched movies together. Many, many others very near here are still flooded though...

Lindsey started 1st Grade this year and she was a little nervous the week before because all of her friends from last year got split off into different classes but she has really been enjoying her first weeks of school after all :) Her funniest comment to me was that 1st Grade was so different...we don't get to play anymore! We have to WORK all. the. time!
Ethan started PreK this year and is doing great. He LOVES his teachers and is having a blast. It is hard for me to believe this is his last year of preschool. You all better start preparing yourselves for my breakdown next year! :) (Note the Wall-E backpack that we looked all over town for and could never find which is saying a lot since we live in Disney central. I finally broke down and bought it off of ebay. He LOVES it!)
